Agile Wtih Long Ranged Attacks
Instead of having to worry about getting hit, Hunters can dodge and stay back to avoid any attacks being thrown out by enemies. Also, in between dodges, they can let loose a volley of arrows to whittle down their target from range.

Sleep and Paralyze Arrows Are the Best
Unlike other RPGs, this game's Bosses are able to afflicted by Status Conditions. Sleep and Paralyze Arrows are the best as you can stun the boss for a while giving you a window to either buff, heal, or a free damage window.
Your Special Skills and Charged Attacks Are Your Only Source of AoE Damage
The Hunter's normal attacks can only target one enemy at a time. If you think you're going to face a horde, make sure you have enough SP for your Charge Attack.

Hunter Has Bad Stat Panels
The Hunter has a pretty bad array of Panels with the offensive panels unlocking after you have a few other panels unlocked. Just try to get the Attack and Charge Speed panels when you can and just unlock other stat panels when you have nothing else to put Skill Points in.

Stay at a Safe Distance and Lock On
Hunters shine by keeping their distance and picking off enemies safely from afar. Always lock on to your target and maintain a position just outside their attack range.
This way, you can keep firing without having to constantly reposition. Learning enemy attack patterns will help you figure out the sweet spot where you’re safe but still within firing range.
Use Back Shots When Enemies Get Too Close
If an enemy manages to get in your face, don’t panic. Instead, perform a Back Shot. Not only does this attack deal damage, it also stuns the enemy briefly and pushes you backwards, creating space while punishing anything that chased you down.
It’s one of the most reliable defensive tools you have, so don’t sleep on it.
Emergency Evasion is Your Lifeline
When things get dicey, spam that emergency dodge to quickly roll away and reset the fight. This is a safer option than risking a trade, especially against mobs or bosses with unpredictable combos.
Use evasion to reposition, then immediately lock on again to resume your barrage.
Sleep and Paralyze Arrows Are OP
Bosses can be hit with status effects. Prioritize using Sleep Arrows and Paralyze Arrows during tough fights.
Sleep gives you a free damage window, or a chance to buff/heal, while Paralyze locks enemies down long enough for you and your team to delete them. Always keep some SP in the tank to fire these off at key moments.
