Best Way to Farm Dosh
Craft White Woolie Stickers
The best way to farm Dosh is by crafting White Woolie Stickers. This has been found to produce the highest return on investment of Dosh to materials currently, producing more than 100,000 Dosh per minute when crafted perfectly.
Players can buy the White Woolie Sticker recipe from Marco in your Base Camp by leveling up his shop to Level 2 and will need the Artist Life to craft this sticker.
Sell Items You Don't Need
Your inventory fills up fast, so don’t be shy about selling off extra materials, fish, monster drops, or crafted gear you aren’t using. Even common resources add up over time.
Sell Monster Drops in Bulk
Basic monster drops like scales, tails, and hides might not seem like much individually, but selling them in bulk after grinding a combat-heavy area can rack up a surprising amount of Dosh.
Complete Side Quests
Talk to villagers and island residents. Many have simple requests that pay out in Dosh.
These are a great way to earn while exploring naturally.
Defeat Enemies
Every monster you defeat drops items, and tougher enemies tend to drop better loot you can sell for decent Dosh.
Hunt Rare or Marked Monsters
Occasionally, you’ll spot monsters with a mark icon over them, they tend to drop more valuable loot and sometimes rare materials you can either sell or use to craft high-value items.
How to Get 10,000 Dosh Early
Unlock All Available Lives
Right from the start, you can head to the Guild Office and unlock 12 different Lives. You don’t need to do the introductions or tutorials, just unlock them, skip the cutscenes if you like, and claim your 1,000 Dosh per Life.
Do this for all 12, and you’ll instantly pocket 12,000 Dosh.
Complete Auntie Anne's Request
Around the same time Auntie Anne asks for 10,000 Dosh, she’ll also offer a side quest.
It’s super easy. Just chase down a mysterious guy, and you’ll net 3,000 Dosh for your trouble.
Complete Ranoah's Request
The king, Ranoah, has a quest for you too. He’ll pay 3,000 Dosh for taking out a group of monsters.
Be warned though as these are a bit tougher, so it’s smart to tackle this one last after you’ve leveled up a bit or grabbed some new gear.
What To Do With 10,000 Dosh
Give It To Auntie Anne
Early in the story, you’ll hit a main quest where Auntie Anne asks you to gather 10,000 Dosh. But she doesn’t actually keep it. It’s part of a life lesson to teach you how to hustle and survive on the island.
Once you turn it in, she gives it right back, and you’ll have leveled up your money-making skills in the process.
