Raising your Buddy's affinity is easy to do and unlocks tons of special abilities in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Learn all the best ways to raise affinity with all your buddies as well as the benefits!

How to Raise Buddy Affinity
Talking Daily
The easiest way to raise affinity is to talk to all of your Buddies in your Base Camp. This takes just a few seconds for each Buddy and requires nothing from you while raising their Affinity bar even for just a little bit.
Give Gifts
Buddies would also enjoy a gift from you from time to time. Check daily if they would like to be given a gift to raise their affinity.
Each Buddy has specific preferences for gifts so pay attention to their class to know which gift they'd like the most!
Have Them As A Party Member
Another easy wait to raise affinity is by letting them join you in your adventures around Mysteria and Ginormosia.
They gain levels and affinity while also assisting you on the field and deafeating enemies with you.
Completing Buddy Requests
Another way to raise affinity is to complete their requests. Whenever your Buddy has the Quest speech bubble above their head, make it a habit to talk to them to take their quest and complete it.
What Does Raising Buddy Affinity Do?
Unlock Special Skills
Affinity is directly tied to your Buddies unlocking special skills unique to them. These either provide tons of support in crafting or gathering or provide hefty damage to enemies on the field.
Check Affinity Bar Through Party Formation
Players can check their Buddy's affinity rank by checking in the Party Formation menu. Your affinity with a specific Buddy will be listed below, noted by the hearts.
