Use Pickaxes to Mine Ore and Rocks
Miners use their trusty pickaxes to mine different nodes like ore, minerals, and rocks. This can the be used by other Lives, like a Blacksmith, to create other pieces of equipment like tools, weapons, and armour.

Skill Upgrade Priority
| Sweet Spot Search > Charge Attack = Special Skill |
Get the Sweet Spot Search ASAP
The Sweet Spot Skill is useful as it significantly increases your damage when you hit the Sweet Spot of the item you're trying to collect.
Charge Attack and Special Skill Panels Are Equally Useful
Both the Charge Attack and Special Skill allow you get stronger hits, so try to get those first before anything.
Stat Upgrade Priority

Get the Mining Stat and SP Bonus up First
Get the Mining Stat and SP Bonus as certain ores can deplete your SP quickly like boss ores. This can save you from the headache as you realize you don't have enough SP when you get to the end of the Ore's HP Bar.

How to Get Excellent Hits
Using Powerful Swings during mining will help you get an EXCELLENT drop after mining a deposit.
Similar to other Gathering Lives, getting an EXCELLENT drop will net you more materials after depleting the ore's HP but will drain your SP faster than using regular swings.
How to Find Sweet Spot
Unlock the Sweet Spot Search Skill
The Sweet Spot Search skill is the skill node directly above the center. This required only 5 skill points to unlock, and allows the players to search the Sweet Spot node in an ore deposit.
To make Sweet Spot searching easier, unlock this node first in your skill tree!
Rotate Around the Ore Deposit
To find the Sweet Spot in an ore deposit, simply rotate around the ore. Tapping it once everytime will eventually find you a Sweet Spot.
This is indicated by a purple exclamation bubble with the word ''Sweet'' written inside. This indicates the ore's weak spot and where they take extra damage when striking.
Use Regular Hits to Conserve SP
When trying to find the Sweet Spot, using regular hits first to find the spot will help you conserve SP.
Due to Powerful Swings costing more SP, players would benefit more if they use regular swings first to scope out the spot.
Equip and Train Buddies for Help
You can bring Buddies with you and they will help you mine and decrease the ore's HP. Do keep in mind since they will decrease the HP Bar of the Ore, time your Charged Skills earlier than you would normally to get the Excellent.
