The physical copy of FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time is exclusively available in Japan. Find out if there’s a physical version of the game, how to get it, and how to play it digitally elsewhere.
Is There A Physical Copy of the Game?
Physical Copy Only Available in Japan
In Japan, FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time (FLi) launched with physical editions for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. These retail copies are available in Japanese game stores and online marketplaces.
However, this release is region-specific and hasn’t made its way to shelves anywhere else.
Physical Copy Release Cancelled Elsewhere
Originally expected to release globally, the physical version of Fantasy Life i was quietly scrapped outside of Japan. In all other regions, the game is now only available as a digital download through the Nintendo eShop, Steam, Microsoft Store, and PlayStation Store.
If you’re set on owning a physical copy, your only option is to import a Japanese version.
How to Play the Physical Copy in English
Change In-Game Text to English
If you decide to import the Japanese physical version, the game includes full English language support.
Once you pop the cartridge into your Nintendo Switch or PS5, you can swap the in-game text and menus to English through the settings. No region lock or extra downloads needed.
