As soon as you can, prioritize unlocking every Life. You’ll naturally pass by trees, ores, fishing spots, and enemies while exploring, and having their respective Lives unlocked means you can gather, fight, or craft on the fly without having to backtrack later.

Don’t Rush the Story
Don’t feel pressured to rush through the main story. Fantasy Life i is designed for you to explore, gather, craft, and level up at your own pace. If you ever find yourself running low on materials, side quests, or things to do, that’s your cue to nudge the story forward.
Otherwise, soak up the world, build your Lives, and enjoy the freedom the game gives you.
Prioritize Leveling Gathering and Crafting Lives
Combat Lives will naturally level up while you fight monsters. But Gathering and Crafting Lives only level up when you actively perform their actions.
Focus on them early so you can craft better gear and items as soon as possible.

Aim for EXCELLENT Every Time When Gathering
When gathering items via woodcutting, mining ore, and fishing, finishing with an EXCELLENT grants more items than usual.
Learn the timing and rhythm early and your backpack will thank you.
Change Your Life Anytime
At the beginning, if you want to obtain a new Life, then you will need to head to a Guild Office and talk to whoever's running it, like Auntie Anne, for example. Once you select the "Change Life" option, all you'll need to do now is select the Life you want to change to.
Quick Change Lives As You Explore!
In case you're doing multiple different tasks, then the game allows you to automatically change Lives depending on the action that you take. For example, if you're going to fish, then you will automatically change to an Angler. As for combat Lives, you will simply need to pull out and equip your weapon to change it.
Play With Your Friends
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time will feature online and local multiplayer support for players who want to play co-op with other players from around the globe or within your vicinity respectively.
Cross-Play Multiplayer Available!
Cross-Play feature is also an additional feature in the game, which allows players to play with one another across different consoles or platforms.
This broadens the multiplayer possibility of the game without being subjected to console compatibility.

Learn Which Lives Synergize
Some Lives are designed to naturally work together, and leveling them alongside each other can make your playthrough way smoother. For example, being a Miner lets you gather ore, which you can then immediately use as a Blacksmith to craft stronger weapons and armor.
Similarly, a Woodcutter can collect logs for a Carpenter to turn into bows, staffs, or furniture. Anglers can catch fish that a Cook turns into meals for stat boosts.
If you pair up these Lives as you play, you’ll constantly feed resources into one another and save yourself the hassle of hunting down ingredients later. It’s an efficient way to build up your resources, equipment, and cash flow without needing to rely on shops or the story’s pacing.
