| Icon | How to Use |
|---|---|
 | Show Names This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown. |
 | Show Pins This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins that you have already marked as acquired. |
 | Fullscreen This button will change the map display to fill the screen. |
 | Search Mode Toggle This button will display a search bar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name. |
 | Icon Mode Toggle In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again. |
 | All Pins This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types. |
 | Counter Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side. |
 | View All Counters This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types. |
All Map Guides
Location Types
| Location Type | Description |
|---|---|
 Towers |
Towers are the most important locations in map completion as they reveal a large portion of the map once activated. They also function as fast travel points and can adjust the quality of materials that you can obtain in their respective regions. |
 Shrines |
Shrines are mini-dungeons that can be found while exploring. Each Shrine contains challenges that rewards Strangelings when completed. |
 Leafe |
Leafe are creatures hiding in obscure spots that also reward you if you find them. Be on the lookout for strange sprouts on the ground! |
 Legendary Recipes |
These "Time" recipes let you craft some of the best weapons and tools in the game! You'll find the mysterious pedestals where the Legendary Recipes are in hard to reach parts of each region. |
 Chests |
You can also find treasure chests while exploring. These can contain various types of items like consumables, materials, weapons, and armor. |
 Field Bosses |
Field Bosses are powerful foes that only appear on specific parts of the exploreable map. Some Field Bosses can only be fought once before disappearing from the overworld permanently. |
How to Unlock the Ginormosia Map
Complete Chapter 1
You will first arrive in Ginormosia by completing the final objective of Chapter 1 where you set off Mysteria Island with the Bone Dragon. After landing in Ginormosia, you won't be able to return to Mysteria Island and the "Present" map until you progress the story a bit more.
