Catch Fish with a Fishing Rod
Anglers use Fishing Rods to catch different types fish located in the world's numerous bodies of water. This Life will be heavily tied to the Cook Life since the fishes that were caught can be used as ingredients in a chef's recipe.

Get the Sweet Spot Search ASAP
The Sweet Spot Skill is useful as it significantly increases your damage when you hit the Sweet Spot of the item you're trying to collect.
Charge Attack and Special Skill Panels Are Equally Useful
Both the Charge Attack and Special Skill allow you get stronger Pulls so try to get those first before anything.

Get the Charge Up Time and Critical Panels First
Get the Charge Up Time and Critical Panels as finding the Sweet Spot in the Fishing minigame is a headache to find. This can save you from the headache of your line accidentally snapping as you can shorten the time needed to reel the fish in.

Change Reeling Direction
You can find the Sweet Spot in Fishing by simply changing the angle of your reel. Keep adjusting your angle until it says SWEET, then keep reeling from that direction to drain the fish's health bar further.
Reeling Too Much on the Same Spot Will Anger the Fish
Keep in mind that spamming in the same direction can cause some fish to get angry. Keep your reels at a steady pace to prevent this.
If you do manage to anger a fish, however, it will change its direction and sweet spot, making you look for it again.
How to Find Sweet Spot
An easy way to find a fishing sweet spot is to go through four opposite corners and try to find either the Sweet Spot itself or the "...". If you get the "...", that means that the Sweet Spot is directly opposite from it.
Equip and Train Buddies for Help
You can bring Buddies with you and they will help you fish and decrease its HP. Do keep in mind since they will decrease the HP Bar of the Fish, time your Charged Skills earlier than you would normally to get the Excellent.
