Healing is an essential part of the life-combat simulation in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Learn all the different ways on how to heal, how to get healing items and how to deal with status effects here!

Rest at an Inn or Camp
Players can rest up for the night at a local inn or at a camp to heal back their HP and SP.
This also passes time in the world so if you need to advance time for a quest, resting at an inn will be the best way to heal up.
Day and Night Cycle: How to Change the Time
Use Potions and Healing Consumables
Players can heal up their HP and SP in a pinch by using the Quick-Access menu and using Potions or Food.
This is best used when exploring or fighting a boss as it lets you stay in the heat of battle.
How to Register Items in Your Bag
Level Up
When doing activities around the world, your currently equipped Life will gain EXP passively. Players will get a full heal whenever any Life levels up.
Use Arcane Heal with the Magician Life
Using the Magician Life, players can learn Arcane Heal by unlocking Switch Magic node of their Skill Tree.
This allows you to use defensive and healing charging spells to help you heal HP in exchange of SP.
Use Buddies
Occasionally in the field, your Buddies will toss you a heal in the middle of battle. Take advatange of this and make sure to equip as many Buddies as you can during exploration!
Pick Up HP Orbs From Defeating Enemies
When fighting enemies, they will occasionally drop green HP orbs on the ground for the player to pick up and heal your HP in the field.
Enemies can also drop blue orbs to refill your SP bar.
How to Get Healing Items
Buy Them From the Tools Shop
Players can purchase HP Potions from the Tools Shop around the world. They would be under the Consumable tab, and would increase in potency the farther you are in the game.
Craft Them with the Alchemist Life
When using the Alchemist Life, one of the first recipes you learn is to craft an HP Potion with 5 Healweeds. This is a great cheap way to stock on Potions as Healweeds can be found anywhere.
Complete Quests
Some quests offer HP Potions as rewards after completing them. Complete these quests to stock up on HP potions while gaining Dosh and helping the locals around!
How to Heal Status Effects
Use Status Healing Items
Same with the HP Potions, players can also purchase antidotes at their nearby Tools Shop.

Status Effect slowly heal overtime. While exploring, make it a habit to check your status ailments by pressing the Left DPad or the P key to check up on your stats.
Types of Status Effects
Four Types of Status Effects
| Status Ailment | Effect |
|---|---|
| Poison | ・Take damage every few seconds |
| Paralysis | ・Unable to do actions for a short time |
| Burned | ・Physical and magical defense are lowered |
| Frostbite | ・Take extra damage when Frostbite is applied ・Slower movement speed |
There are four status ailments enemies can inflict upon you. Each status ailment has a different effect and will have different healing antidotes.
