Create Concoctions and Accessories
Alchemists can use a workbench to create different kinds of concoctions, which can be used to either buff, heal, or harm. Besides that, they can also craft accessories, which can then be used on your character once it's equipped.

Prioritize the Improve Ability Skills
Improve Ability will make it so that every time you craft, you can get better products and also can also produce more consumables.
Unlock Improv and Auto Complete Only When you Have Points to Burn
Despite the need to not use items, Improv Crafting is too gimmicky and is only good mid to late game. Meanwhile Auto Complete, while convenient, will not give you improved items and will not give you more items as you would with crafting regularly.

Get the Time Bonus Panels First
Get the Time-Limit Boost Panels as it will make it easier to get better quality items since it can take a while before you can get Buddies that have the Alchemist Life.
Mini-Game Upgrade Priority
| Spin = Hold > Tap |
Always Prioritize Spin or Hold Upgrades
Spin is an annoying mini-game action as it forces you to rotate the joystick away from the button. Meanwhile, Hold will always waste time since you can always tap or Spin faster. Make sure to get the panels that decrease Hold and Spin timing first before Tap.

Fill the Completion Bar Within the Set Number of Moves
The goal of the Crafting minigame is simple: Complete the sequence of actions shown at the top of the screen and fill the Completion Bar within the specified number of moves.
The quality of the item will be based on how fast you filled the Completion Bar—the less moves it took to finish the item, the better the quality.
On the other hand, running out of moves will fail the crafting process and you will lose the crafting materials used. Make sure to at least meet the recommended Crafting Skill to improve your chances of completing the item!

There are four different actions with corresponding icon shapes that can appear on the sequences: tap, mash, hold, and spin. You must complete each sequence by doing the correct action on the correct station as fast as you can until you fill the Completion Bar or you run out of moves.
Incorrect inputs will disable any action for a short while, which delays the sequence and possibly lowers the highest possible rating that you can get!
Completion Difficulty is Relative to Crafting Skill
The rate of which the Completion Bar is filled for every sequence that you complete depends on the Recommended Crafting Skill of the item.
Having a much lower value of the corresponding Crafting Skill than what is recommended will make it more difficult to fill the Completion Bar even if you get an Excellent rating on all sequences.
Increase your Crafting Skill by equipping a better Tool or leveling up and unlocking panels on the Skill Board!
Equip and Train Buddies for a Buff
If you want to craft a certain piece but your stats alone can't cut it, make sure to equip and train the converted Strangelings to help you out. Make sure they also have Tools equipped to bump up their respective Crafting stat.
Use Gathering Lives to Save Dosh
To save up on Dosh, use your Gathering lives to get all if not most of the ingredients you need to create the item you need. If you do have to spend, just get the raw materials instead and just craft up from there to get more worth from your Dosh.
Needed for the Cash Cat Strangeling
You need to be a decent level Alchemist if you want to get the Cash Cat Strangeling from the Haniwa Settlement. Make sure you and your Buddies have a combined Crafting Skill of atleast 750 or above.
