Buddies can be healed up by you through various way in FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time. Learn how to heal buddies, and how to heal status effects on buddies!

Buddies can rest up for the night at a local inn or at a camp with you to heal back their HP and SP.
This also passes time in the world so if you need to advance time for a quest, resting at an inn will be the best way to heal up.
Day and Night Cycle: How to Change the Time

Buddies can be healed up in a pinch by using Potions or Food through the Items menu.
Unfortunately, items used with the Quick-Access Menu only affect that Player Avatar so you will need to heal them up through the Items menu.
How to Register Items in Your Bag

When doing activities around the world, your buddies will gain EXP while helping you around, like with fighting or farming. They will get a full heal whenever they level up.

Some buddies, specifically Jerry, Sloan and Hilda, possess healing spells that can target you and the buddies in your party. They can help you get through a tough boss fight as they can take some of the stress of healing away.

Same with the HP Potions, players can also purchase antidotes at their nearby Tools Shop. to heal them or their buddies up.
