How to Unlock Farmer Life
Complete Chapter 4-21: Visit the Elder Tree
After obtaining the Spirit Hoe from Inaji after cooking the Herb Soup, you can head to the Guild Office after the cutscene to change into the Farmer Life!

Plant and Harvest Crops
The Farmer Life will have players growing crops from seeds and then harvesting them once they're fully grown. This will be heavily tied to the Cook Life since the ingredients harvested can then be used to cook dishes for the player.

Skill Upgrade Priority
| Charge Attack = Special Skill > Dig-Dig Detector |
Get Your Charge Attack and Special Skill Panels First
Both the Charge Attack and Special Skill allow you to harvest an entire plot of Veggies so try to get those first before anything. This will save you so much time and can deal a substantial amount of damage to Boss Vegetables.
Save the Dig-Dig Detector Panels for Later
The Dig-Dig Detector Panels are only there if you are harvesting Boss Vegetables. You won't need to worry about Boss Vegetables until you're Adept Rank, so wait on these for a bit.

Get the Gathering Stat Bonus Panels as it will make it easier and faster to get better quality crops and since Buddy Farmers won't actually help you harvest in your Base.

Passively Grow Crops As Your Progress
Unlike other Gathering lives, the Farmer Life's Challenges are the easiest to complete but is very time consuming and RNG Based.
If you're going around completing the story or grinding out other Lives, make sure to always check on your farm from time to time and make sure you always have something planted.
Where to Buy Seeds
Buy Seeds From Marco in Your Base's Guild
Marco will also offer his own catalogue of seeds. If you are short a few seeds, talk to him to buy a couple.
Farmer Buddes Don't Help in Base
Unlike other Buddies, Farmers don't help you harvest unless you're in the Past or when you're in Ginormosia. Don't invest much on them at the beginning and go unlock other Buddies with your Celestia's Gifts.
