Where to Find All Strangelings

Shrine Exploration
Strangelings can be usually found at the end of Shrines, so make sure to explore Shrines and hopefully snag a Strangeling once you're finish exploring.
Story Progression
Progressing the story can usually earn you a Strangeling, so play the game and finish main quests to get a Strangeling every now and then.
Crowned Monster Drops
Strangelings can sometimes be acquired as drops from monsters marked with crowns above them on the map.
The Strangelings dropped from these monsters are not fixed, so you might get random Strangelings or none at all when defeating these types of monsters.
Unexplored Areas
Unexplored areas can usually have Strangelings that are housed inside treasure chests, so checking out the areas you find along the way can help you get some Strangelings.

How to Revert the Strangelings
Offer Celestia's Gift to the Goddess Statue
Players can return Strangelings back to their original forms by visiting the Goddess Statue during Chapter 3, upon unlocking the Guild Office at the Base Camp.
Offer a Celestia's Gift to the Goddess Statue to revert Strangelings. Note that Celestia's Gifts bloom once a day in real-world time, so be sure to get them whenever you come across any!
What are Strangelings?
Allies Turned into Objects
Strangelings are actually allies that have been transformed into objects. Once they've been found, recruited, and reverted back into their human forms, they can assist you with tasks that relate to their chosen life.
How Many Strangelings are There?
49 Strangelings as of Pre-Release
As of now, there are 49 Strangelings that can be found in the game. This can be confirmed by checking the Encyclopedia tab in the Activities Menu of the game.
