How to Fight Berserkers

How to Fight

Fighting Berserkers is almost like fighting normal Bears. Usually, combat with berserkers start off with them in their Human form. Once you defeat them, they will transform into their bear form. The best way to deal with them is the same as dealing with normal bear. Attack them from behind while making sure that you do not get hit by their attacks.

What Preparations to Make?

When fighting berserkers in their bear form, you should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Cursed oil to deal bonus damage to them. Cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from their heavy attacks. Cast other Signs or throw Bombs that affect their movement so you can reach their back and attack them.

Special Sign Effects

  • Igni - If your Sign Intensity is high enough, they will start burning and will leave them stunned for the duration of the burn.
  • Yrden - Their movements and attacks will become significantly slower allowing you to reach its back and attack it.
  • Axii - They will become stunned for a short duration.
