Cultists Enemy Information

Characteristics

Cultists are a Minoris threat Chaos enemy that you will regularly fight in the Campaign and Operations. Cultists always come in squads and do not pose much of a threat as they are easily dispatched with one shot.

Variations

Cultists - Long-Las

The only time you should be wary of a group of Cultists is when they are armed with snipers. You can tell these units are around if you have these faint green lasers pointing at you.

Attacks and Abilities

Cultists will chip away at your armor using their automatic weapons.

Cultists with Long-Las guns will stagger you if you do not dodge their shots. You will see a glowing green ring before they shoot.

How to Beat Cultists

Mow Them Down

When entering combat and you see these guys, try and take them out first to thin enemy numbers. They are practically defenseless when engaged in melee.

Use High-Powered Weapons

Even something like a Heavy Bolt Pistol will kill multiple Cultists if they are bunched up.

Dodge Towards Them

If you are in melee range, you can opt to simply dodge into the Cultists and even that is enough to kill them.
