Use Ranged Attacks From Higher Ground

When you spot the Yeti, move to a higher vantage point and use ranged weapons, such as shortbows or crossbows, to deal damage from afar. Choose a position on uneven terrain to make it harder for the Yeti to reach you.

Sword and Shield Combo

The Yeti only deals melee damage, so if you prefer an up-close fight, using a sword and shield is recommended. Its attacks are slow, making it easier to time your blocks with the shield and follow up with counterattacks using the sword.
