In its Early Access phase, Hytale is currently only supported on PC for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems via its own launcher. Hytale is currently not supported on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, or Steam; however, the developers have confirmed that support for more platforms is planned for the future.

Hytale Download

Hytale is not supported on Steam, PS5, or Xbox at the start of Early Access. However, the developers have confirmed plans to expand to additional platforms in the future. During Early Access, Hytale is a PC exclusive via purchase and download from its official website.

According to a statement from Hypixel Studios, the game was not launched on Steam because the platform does not currently support the game’s unique modding features.

Additionally, the team wants to remain focused on the goals promised in the #SaveHytale movement. While they have stated that Hytale may eventually come to Steam, it is not available there for the time being.
