Flying in Hytale is only doable in Creative Mode. Learn how to fly, what the fly command is, and the controls while flying in this guide!

How to Fly
Enable Operator Permissions

| /op self | Grants managing operator permissions to yourself |
As of this writing, flying is not normally possible and can only be done with the use of console commands. Press Enter within a World, then type in /op self to grant yourself operator permissions and access most of the other commands.
Enter Creative Mode
With operator permissions enabled, simply press the O key on your keyboard to set the game mode to Creative Mode. A message will notify you if you've successfully entered Creative Mode. Your health and stamina bars will also be coated in silver, as they will not decrease while you're in Creative Mode.
Double Press the Spacebar
You can now fly once everything is set. Double press the Spacebar to make your avatar hover in midair and enter flight mode. You will also gain access to a few more movement controls to adjust elevation and disengage flight mode.
