Sleep in Bed to Fast Forward to Morning

Crude Bedroll ・Plant Fiber x3
・Light Hide x2

The easiest way to progress time is by sleeping in any bed in the evening to fast forward to morning. You can only sleep starting at 7:30 PM in-game, and you’ll wake up after around 5-6 hours.

To craft a Crude Bedroll, you'll only need 3 Plant Fiber and 2 Light Hide, which are common resources that you can find around you.

Enter Console Commands

Command Effect
/noon Sets the time to noon and pauses
/settimeandgohome (timeOfDay) Sets the time of day and teleports the user
/time [--options] Get the world time
/wait (time) [--options] Waits a specified amount of time before completing asynchronously

Another way to progress time is by entering commands into the console. Listed above are the commands that can change the in-game time. Note that you may need permission to use the console if you're on someone else's server.

One In-Game Day Lasts About 48 Real-Life Minutes

One real-life minute is around 30 in-game minutes in Hytale, that means that a full 24-hour in-game day lasts about 48 minutes in real life.

Type /time into the Console

Check Time

To check the current in-game time, type /time into the console. You’ll then receive a reply showing the current time and day (in 24-hour format), as well as a calendar of your world.

If you're playing solo, type /op self first to give yourself permission to use the console command in your world. Just type /op self again to remove the permission.
