Thin Out the Mobs

The Scarak Broodmother does not attack directly, but it is guarded by multiple Scarak and will occasionally spawn Scarak Louse. You will need to thin out the mobs, as they will move toward you and can quickly overwhelm you once you enter the area.

Use Ranged Attacks

To avoid getting overwhelmed, use ranged attacks, such as shortbows or crossbows, to damage the Scarak Broodmother and take out the mobs one at a time from afar. Switch to your melee weapon when enemies get too close.

Where to Find Scarak Broodmother

Underground Beneath an Overworld Spire in Howling Sands

Scarak Broodmother Location

The Scarak Broodmother can be found underground beneath one of the overworld spires within Howling Sands. The cave is surrounded by Purple Crystal Shards, Orange Glowing Mushrooms, and hanging Scarak Egg Sacs from the ceiling. Multiple Scarak patrol the area and guard the Broodmother.

The exact location is randomized, so you will need to look for circular brown areas on the map around Howling Sands.
