Dragon Quest Treasures - List of Status Effects

There are several status effects, including Poison, Sleep, and Stun, that change the effectiveness of monsters in battle in Dragon Quest Treasures. Read on to see a full list of all status effects, what they do, and how to cure them!

List of Status Effects

Status Effect Description
PoisonPoison Inflicts poison on the target, making their HP go down gradually.
SleepSleep Makes targets fall asleep in place, unable to move for a while.
StunStun Stuns targets, making them unable to move for a while.
SilenceSilence Silences the target, making them unable to cast spells.
BedazzleBedazzle Reduces accuracy of the target, making them miss more often.
ParalysisParalysis Paralyzes targets, making them unable to move for a while.
Attack BoostAttack Boost Boosts target's physical attack power, inflicting greater damage with abilities.
Magic BoostMagic Boost Boosts target's magical attack power, inflicting greater damage with spells.
Defense BoostDefense Boost Boosts target's defense, decreasing incoming damage.
Attack DownAttack Down Lowers attack power, thus decreasing inflicted damage.
Defense DownDefense Down Lowers defense, thus increasing incoming damage.

How to Cure Status Effects




Rest at a Campfire

Rest at Campfire
Resting at a campfire immediately restores your HP and cures all status effects from your party.

Heal Yourself With X

Heal Yourself
Press and Hold X till the bar is full to heal yourself, and remove status effects. This only works on either Mia or Erik.
How to Heal and Revive Monsters

Use a Panacea Pellet

Using a Panacea Pellet on one of your monsters will remove whatever status effect that is inflicted upon them.

Return to Base

Home Base
This is a last resort, if you're out of MP and don't feel like walking back to a campfire, you can use a Chimera Wing to bring yourself back to base, restoring your HP and curing all status effects.

Status Effects Don't Stack

Status Effects Don
Status effects don't stack on top of each other. That means, you can only inflict Poison or any status effect once on an enemy until the status effect disappears. Only then can you re-inflict it with another status effect.
