DQ Treasures - using Frizz Pellet

Rimeblood is weak to Fire, Earth, and Explosive-type damages so make use of your Frizz, Crag, and Bang Pellets when attacking its weakpoint. Additionally, most of the pots around the arena contain Frizz Pellets to help you rain fire on Rimeblood.

Shoot the Gem When It's Glowing

Scan your surroundings each time Rimeblood disappears as there are times that its gem will glow red. When this happens, quickly shoot any Pellet at it to stun Rimeblood for several seconds.

Use Wild Side When It's Stunned

After stunning Rimeblood, close in and unleash Erik/Mia's Wild Side. This adds more impact to your attacks on its gem. You can also call your allies (by pressing the D-Pad down button) to get them closer to the gem and attack it!

Iceberg

DQ Treasures - Rimeblood iceberg

Rimeblood creates an iceberg from the ground and slides it forward in a straight line.

Frost Spin

DQ Treasures - frost spin

Rimeblood's normal attack where it spins and creates frost spikes from the ground to increase its range, damaging anyone around it.

Burrow

DQ Treasures - burrowing Rimeblood

Rimeblood burrows to the ground and follows its target. Upon reaching its target or when it reaches a certain distance, Rimeblood will attack from below, damaging a wide area. You can avoid this attack by running to the other end of the arena or dodging right before Rimeblood ascends.

Vanish

DQ Treasures - vanishing Rimeblood

Rimeblood can vanish to move to another spot before reappearing. It is not possible to track Rimeblood while it's invisible, but in some cases, the gem on its chest will glow before Rimeblood reappears. Quickly shoot its gem with any Pellet to stun Rimeblood for several seconds.
