Teaser Trailer

Dragon Quest Treasures was first teased to the public on May 26, 2022, by Square Enix, as well as a date that led up to the announcement of its release date during the Nintendo Direct Mini:Partner Showcase. The trailer mostly showed the two protagonists and the world where the player's grand adventure begins.

Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase

Dragon Quest Treasures announced their release date during the Nintendo Direct Mini:Partner Showcase on June 28, 2022. The trailer introduced the players to the world of Draconia and the goal behind their grand adventure— to become legendary treasure hunters!

The trailer also showcased how the gameplay and mechanics of the game worked, such as being able to recruit a variety of well-mannered monsters that can help players explore the world and help them fend off other monsters!

Gameplay Overview Trailer

On September 23, 2022, a Gameplay Overview Trailer was uploaded on the official Nintendo of America Youtube channel. The trailer gave more context on how the treasure-hunting mechanics worked and how you'll be able to recruit well-meaning monsters to help you in your adventure.

It also introduced and went into detail about all the things you can do in your base, from being able to put your treasures on display to interacting with different NPCs across different shops.
