The fastest way to increase your Gang Rank is to bring home as many treasures as you can. The more you bring back to base at the same time, the higher their value becomes.
Make sure your Golden Ratio is always at 100% in the Treasure Forecast, in order to bring back the best and rarest treasures.

Treasure Capacity varies depending on the monster. Higher treasure capacities usually result in a lower Safekeeping Score, which is the chance for a monster to keep a treasure instead of dropping it, so make sure to pick up treasures if you drop them.

Completing a Treasure Dungeon often rewards you with Treasure to put into your vault. These dungeons require maps that can be found by beating monsters or sending your party out in Dispatch Missions.

Your monsters will often spot Silver Treasure in the field, which are Bric-a-Brac class items that are of lower value than Gold treasure. These are easier to spot, as they appear in your minimap.
Find a Rival Gang's base and take their Flag. By taking their flag, you will be rewarded with treasure.
