Monsters with Sprint | ||
---|---|---|
Ham Shamwitch | Sham Hatwitch | Hat Hamwitch |
Since the regions you have to explore are very large and running around on foot can take a while, it is recommended to take one monster with you that can do the Sprint Forte skill, which allows you to quickly zoom around for a short while.
Although they have the Sprint Forte, Restless Armour and Deserted Armour Monsters are slower than Ham Shamwitches and the like.
If you raise your level high enough, you can recruit a Great Sabrecat monster that knows Sprint and is a great addition to your party.
Monsters with Healing Spells | ||
---|---|---|
Cutie Slime | King Slime | Golem |
Launch is another very important Forte skill to have, as it can be used to easily scale hills and small cliffs. If you get stuck anywhere, you can use Launch to get out without having to use a Chimera Wing.
Many monsters that can Launch also tend to have high defense stats and Healing spells, so it is highly recommended to take at least one along with you.
Monsters with Healing Spells | ||
---|---|---|
Sham Hamwitch | Orc King | King Slime |
As Bonfires can be quite rare on the field, healing up while treasure hunting is an invaluable skill. Take at least one monster with you that has a Heal ability.
Monsters can have different spells and abilities, so keep on scouting till you find the right one!
How to Heal and Revive Monsters
Choose a Team Comp! | |
---|---|
Exploration Team | High-Power Team |
Defensive Team | Treasure-Hunting Team |
All-Around Team | ||
---|---|---|
King Slime | Ham Shamwitch | Orc King |
This is a team that can do anything pretty well: Attack, defense, exploration, and treasure-hunting. The King Slime can Launch and heal you, while the Ham Shamwitch can get you around fast, and the Orc King can dish out damage as well as scan for treasure. You'll never go wrong with this team comp!
Monster | Alternative | Reason | |
---|---|---|---|
Orc King | → | Great Sabrecat | Extra Sprint monster when Ham Shamwitch's Forte is on cooldown |
→ | Drackyma | For the Glide Forte | |
→ | Shadow Minister | For the Stealth Forte |
Monsters with High Attack | ||
---|---|---|
Orc King | Great Sabrecat | Queen Slime |
This high-power team is all about crushing the enemy with great attack strength, while not forgetting basic healing and simple exploration Forte skills. This team is great for rushing Treasure Dungeons or Snarl Portals—just make sure to keep them healthy!
Monster | Alternative | Reason | |
---|---|---|---|
Orc King | → | Ultra Marine | Can stun enemies, deal critical hits, and heal allies |
Great Sabrecat | → | Shiny Dracky | Can boost attack and stun enemies |
Queen Slime | → | Stormy Sabrecat | Can boost attack and has access to strong ranged attacks |
Note: The alternative monsters are found at high levels in endgame areas.
Monsters with High Defense | ||
---|---|---|
Deserted Armour | King Slime | Golem |
This team is great for staying alive, especially against Bosses that cannot be rushed, featuring monsters with high Defence or Deftness to block attacks. The King Slime can Heal, while the Deserted Armour and Golem can tank all the hits.
If a party member falls in battle, the rest can effectively tank enemy hits while you revive your ally with no worries.
Monster | Alternative | Reason | |
---|---|---|---|
Deserted Armour | → | Orc King | Can act as both a healer and an attacker |
Monsters made to Hunt Treasure | ||
---|---|---|
Gigantes | Hoodlum | Great Sabrecat |
Both Gigantes and Hoodlum can hold up to 4 treasures each, and they can both Scan the area for treasure, while the Great Sabrecat can hold up to 3 treasures and can get you around real fast. This combo is great for avoiding enemies to focus on treasure hunting!
The Treasure Forecast of a specific island shows what kinds of treasures are easier to find at the moment. Create team comps that have higher Golden Ratios based on the Treasure Forecast for an easier time treasure hunting!
Monsters have Favorite Treasures that they prefer to find. Choose monsters that have different Favorite Treasures, so that you will have an easier time finding more treasure even faster.
