What are Rival Gangs?

Enemy Groups That Can Appear During Exploration

DQ Treasures - rival gang appears

Draconia is filled with treasures yet to be found, but Erik and Mia aren't the only ones searching fo them. Rival Gangs can appear while exploring and attack your group in an attempt to steal your treasures. Defeat them in battle to fend them off and keep your loot safe!

Can steal treasures from your monsters

DQ Treasures - treasure stolen from an ally

In Dragon Quest Treasures, your ally monsters will carry the treasures that you found during the exploration. If you get attacked by rival gangs, your allies may drop the treasures they are carrying, which can be snagged by the enemy team. Win the battle to retrieve these stolen treasures!

May Attempt to Steal Treasures From Your Base

Rival Gangs can also attack your base directly to steal treasures from your vault! They can also attack allies you sent on an expedition. Take them on and defeat them in battle to defend the treasure and increase its value.

If a rival gang successfully steals your treasure, you can get back at them later on by tracking their base in Draconia. Defeat them in battle to retrieve the treasure!

A group of sky pirates and one of the major rival gangs consisting of hundreds of humans and monsters gathered under the notorious and ruthless Long John Silverbones. It is said that Silverbones has some sort of connection with Captain Levanter of the Sylphanian Expedition.

DQ Treasures - Captain Levanter DQ Treasures - Gayle DQ Treasures - Anemone

An expedition team sent by the Sylphanian Kingdom to Draconia. Althrough they are not hostile, they are one of the major rival gangs in Dragon Quest Treasures.

Other than the two rival gangs mentioned, there are also other groups that you can meet in Draconia. One of these gangs are led by Robbin' 'Ood.
