How to Skip Dialogues and Cutscenes

Dragon Quest Treasures is here and it features several dialogues and cutscenes to guide the player and show a good story telling method. This is a guide on how to skip the game's cutscenes and how to speed through the game's dialogue.

How to Skip Cutscenes

Skip Cutscenes By Pressing + Button Twice

Major Cutscenes can be skipped by pressing the + button on the Nintendo Switch twice. To easily know if a cutscene can be skipped, press the plus button once during the said event then a skip button should appear on your lower right screen. Pressing the button again will skip the cutscene entirely.

Story Plot Summary can be Viewed in the Logbook

The Logbook has the Story so Far function where you can check the summary of events in the game. This can be handy if you are attempting to speed through the game or have simply accidentally skipped a cutscene by mistake.

How to Skip Dialogues

Dialogues Cannot Be Skipped

Actual in-game dialogue on the other hand, cannot be skipped automatically. While the old method of button mashing the confirm button does indeed work, there are no automatic one press button that will speed through the game's dialogue.
