Gathering spots can be found in Dragon Quest Treasures by using the Scan Forte or by searching in the overworld! Read on to learn how to find these spots and other helpful tips!
The simplest method, especially early in the game when you don't have access to monsters with the Scan Forte, is simply to look for items you can harvest while exploring the Overworld.
These items can be found all over, from caves to riversides! So when in doubt, try to interact with it!

Many monsters will have the Scan Forte, which allows them to highlight areas that contain materials and treasure chests!
All Forte Skills and How to Use Them
When you first visit an area, use the Scan Forte to get a better reading of the place and grab as many materials as possible!
Once you're more familiar with the location, you can simply hunt for items in the overworld and bring in a different Monster with a different Forte!
Items that stand out, either by their placement or by the indicators that appear above them are a good sign of finding gathering spots!
Leave no stone unturned as you may just find some secret or hidden spaces to find materials! There are a large variety in all kinds of spaces so don't be afraid to take some time to explore your surroundings.
You never know, you might just find some great loot!
