Dragon Quest Treasures is Square Enix's latest spin off game to the Dragon Quest series. Read on to know if there are any premium currencies in the game, whether there are lootboxes or microtransactions, and all the features that involves real currency in the game!

Does The Game Have Microtransactions?
The Game Does Not Contain IAPs
Dragon Quest Treasures currently do not show any hint of IAPs involved in the game. As a purchasable single player game, hints nor a possible appearance of IAPs for the game are absent and unlikely to be added in the game. As it stands the game's only cost is buying the game itself either via digitally or getting a physical version.
No Lootboxes Are Present Ingame
At present, no purchasable lootboxes of any kind are found in the game. The only RNG based items that can be obtained are from gathering points and monster drops and none of these features involve hints of any real money spending.
The Game is a full Openworld Single Player RPG
With the first two aforementioned topics, Dragon Quest Treasures is a full single player game that you can enjoy from start to finish by buying the game. The game is also currently only available on the Nintendo Switch. The game can also be pre-ordered to gain a slight bonus advantage in the form of items at the start of the game!
Other Currency Related Features
Purchase the Deluxe Edition for Bonuses
While you can purchase the base game by itself for the full price, there is also the Deluxe Edition that you can purchase for an additional $5. The Deluxe edition gives you access to three monsters and some more items that is separate from the pre order bonus!
