Before anything else, complete the prologue chapter until you reach Eggshell Island, where you get to name your Gang. It takes about 2.5 hours of playtime to get to this point of the story.
Prologue Quest Walkthrough
Make sure your Golden Ratio is always at 100% in the Treasure Forecast, or at least as close to max as it can be, in order to bring back the best and rarest treasures.
Doing this will increase your Gang's Treasure Rank very fast, making you progress through the story even faster. The more you bring back to base at the same time, the higher their value becomes.
How to Find Treasures
Collecting more Gold Treasures than Silver Treasures will raise your Gang Rank even faster. You can find Gold Treasures by using your Treasure Vision.
How to Increase Treasure Rank Fast
Even monsters not in your party can level up, so long as you send them out on Dispatch missions. After they return from their mission, they will have gained Exp or even leveled up.
Dispatch Missions Guides: How to Choose the Best Dispatch Missions
You will often get Treasure Maps from Dispatch Missions. Make sure to seek them out every time you get one, as they give a good amount of Exp and rare treasures.
How to Get Maps and Find Treasure Dungeons
For Levels 10-30, the fastest way to level up would be to defeat difficult enemies called Great Sabrecats. They can be found a little west of the train station in The Wingswept Moors.
How to Level Up Fast
Scout and recruit a lot of monsters from every island. More monsters in your party will increase the chances of you having a higher Golden Ratio, as there will simply be a wider variety of monsters with different Favorite Treasures.
Best Party and Team Composition
Sanguinite is used primarily to repair train stations on each island, making traveling around each island much faster and easier. Give the Sanguinite to the Station Masters of each station, who can be found next to the station's elevator.
How to Get Sanguinite
Daily quests in Dragon Quest Treasures are a set of quests players can complete within a day before it resets. It is recommended to do these Daily Quests, as they are a good source of Chimera Wings.

Since the regions you have to explore are very large and running around on foot can take a while, it is recommended to take one monster with you that can do the Sprint Forte skill, which allows you to quickly zoom around for a short while.
Treasure Vision is a mechanic that allows Erik and Mia to use a monster's vision to spot hidden treasures in the game. Treasure Visions can only be used once you are near a hidden treasure.
How to Use Treasure Vision
Dragon Attacks will easily beat strong enemies. Make sure to save these attacks for when battles are getting dicey.
How to Use Dragon Attacks
If you're carrying too much treasure, and you're too far from a train station, and you're in deep trouble, use a Chimera Wing to easily take you back to base. Make sure to save these items for when you truly need them.
During your adventures, you can heal through various means such as your Dragon Dagger, healing pellets, and resting at campfires.
Likewise, allies who fall in battle can be revived by holding A! Note that this consumes MP, so if you run out of MP you will be unable to revive allies.
How to Heal and Revive Monsters
All recruitable monsters will have one Forte that is unique to them. Always try to include as many unique Fortes as you have in your party.
There are 5 monster Fortes in the game but only 3 members to include in your party so try to make a good diversity in your team whenever you plan to explore the overworld to be able to gain access to as many areas as you can!
All Forte Skills and How to Use Them
Upgrading your base allows you to expand on the number of options you can do at your base. Increasing your ranks gives you and your gang passive bonuses such as having more treasure troves or increasing the amount of items you can steal or pinch from enemies!
You can get back treasure stolen by Rival Gangs by completing the Gang Quest that appears right after. Find them on the map, then pull out the enemy gang's flag to retrieve your stolen treasure.
Note: Not all treasures that were stolen from you out on the field will be able to be retrieved.
