Lure It Towards the Rocks and Attack
Throughout the battle, position yourself behind the magma rocks around the arena and wait until Proudmane peforms a charge or a plunge attack. This will cause it to attack the rock instead and get stunned.
Attack the Gem on Its Chest
While Proudmane is stunned, attack the gem on its chest to deal heavier damage. You can also call your allies over to you so they can attack the weakpoint by pressing the D-Pad down button.
We also recommend using Erik/Mia's Dragon Attack, Wild Side, to increase your damage output to Proudmane's weakpoint.
Proudmane, Sentinel of the Cinders Attack Patterns
Charge
Proudmane rushes forward in a straight line until it reaches a certain distance or hits a magma rock. You can lure Proudmane into one of the large magma rocks to stun it for several seconds.
Explosive Plunge
Proudmane leaps and plunges into the ground, creating ground explosions around it the point of impact. This attack can also hit the magma rocks and stun Proudmane.
Flame Breath
Proudmane breathes fire in a straight line. Getting caught in this stream of fire for too long may inflict stun.
