After obtaining the Blue Skull Key in Chapter 19: Harbor of Souls, head to the blue gate and follow the gold trail. You'll find the Acolyte Toy Collectibe at the end of this path.

Once an Acolyte has their purple barrier up, you have to find and eliminate the spirit clone roaming around the area to get rid of the barrier. Acolytes can teleport great distances making them hard targets. You can Shield Charge or the Shield Saw to either close in or stun the Acolyte for an opening.

Codex Entry

Once hallowed Sentinel priests of Argent D'Nur, now vessels of cosmic corruption. Their souls twisted by the Witch's eldritch touch, these fallen oracles peer beyond mortal veil with minds poisoned by alien essences. The cosmic taint courses through their veins, bestowing forbidden sight and powers that rend the fabric of reality. They serve as one - a serpent with many heads, each a fragment of their mistress's unfathomable design. Through them, the malice of realms beyond bleeds into the world they once swore to protect.
