Yes, But Features Significant Changes

Doom: The Dark Ages no longer uses the brutal, flashy kill animations previous installments had. Instead, they now focused on more varied, fluid, and fast-paced kill animations from any direction.

This change is meant to improve the overall feel of combat since Doom: The Dark Ages has more enemies on the battlefield than ever before. The emphasis on quick, decisive strikes keeps you moving seamlessly across the battlefield, cutting down everything in your path without slowing the action.

Dazed

Players now use fast special attack animations when there is a purple prompt shown on an enemy. The animation depends on factors such as your angle of attack, the weapon used, and the type of enemy you are fighting.
