The Agaddon Champion is an experienced warrior that uses its shield to force you to fight close range in which it then overwhelms you with a variety of Hell Surge melee attacks.

| Outlanders torn from distant worlds, the Agaddon Hunters were enslaved and corrupted by Hell's dark will. Once noble beast-stalkers for their clans, they now serve Ahzrak's horde, their minds twisted and bodies reshaped. Marked prey are their quarry, chosen by the dark priests' decree. Enhanced to rival even the Slayer's martial prowess, these savage predators roam the battlefield driven by a cruel purpose etched in hellfire. |

Get Close to Cancel its Shield
The Agaddon Champion will occasionally disengage and activate its shield while firing projectiles at you. To end this defensive stance, get near it to provoke a melee attack and open up its defenses.
Prepare for Hell Surge Melee Combos When Getting Close
Upon getting close to the Agaddon Champion to cancel it's shield, you have to prepare for a flurry of Hell Surge melee attack combos. Be patient and focus on parrying these attacks and wait for an opening before unleashing your counterattack.

“Agaddon Champion Down!” Milestone
Eliminating the Agaddon Champion for the first time at the end of Chapter 8 rewards you with the “Agaddon Champion Down!” Milestone.

Encountered in the Last Area of Chapter 8
Agaddon Champion is a boss enemy encountered at the end of Chapter 8: Abyssal Forest. Unlike the previous Champion fight, this fight isn't affected much by the Agaddon's Champion's golden armor as it lacks armor to start with.
