The Vagary Toy Collectible can be found within Chapter 9: Ancestral Forge near the Ancestral Heart switch in the upper west enemy camp. Open the locked gate with the Purple Key and defeat enemies as you climb towards the top to find the Vagary Toy beside a Ruby.

Vagaries are arachnid-hellspawn hybrids with cybernetic enhancements, firing multiple projectiles from their arm and turret. It's best to deal with these enemies at long ranges to avoid their fast melee attacks and the slowing-effects from their shoulder-mounted turret.

Ahzrak whispers of blood and carnage, and so they follow, drawn to the agony he spreads like a plague. They drink deep from the despair of the damned, feeding on misery as a leech feasts on lifeblood. His war is endless, and for the Vagary, it is an unholy feast without end.
