The Enhanced Ahzrak boss fight is your first encounter with Ahzrak in his true demonic form. This boss fight has three phases which features a lot of combo attacks and progressively complex mechanics that you'd have to be careful of.

Destroy the Red Spirits and Spires for Health and Armor
The Enhanced Ahzrak fight can be quite lengthy considering there's three phases. On higher difficulties, you're likely to run out of Armor and Health. To refill on these resources, destroy the red spirits that Ahzrak summons and the super-heated spires around the arena for armor and health drops.
Use Weapons That Can Dish Out Damage Between Parries
Ahzrak's relentless melee combos can be parried with very short openings between his attacks. Equip weapons like the Impaler, Combat Shotgun that excel at dishing out burst damage between parries to punish him effectively without getting locked into long reload animations.
You Can Both Parry and Block the Bullet-Hell Section
During the bullet-hell phase, green spikes shoot outward from the arena's center. These can be parried to potentially deal a bit of damage against Ahzrak. However, if you're not in position or it's too risky, blocking the red spikes will still completely negate the damage, making it a safe alternative.

| Energy Projectile | Ahzrak charges his spear with green energy before firing a wide green projectile after doing a slashing motion. Parry this attack to trigger your Shield Rune. |
| Charging Thrust | Ahzrak charges his spear with green energy until it flashes before charging toward the Slayer with a spear thrust. |
| 2 Quick Slashes | Ahzrak performs 2 quick horizontal slashes with his spear. He can chain this with a different attack, making his slashes continuous. |
| 3-Strike Combo | Ahzrak performs 2 underhand slash attacks before swinging with an overhead attack while stepping forward. |
| Jumping Overhead Strike | Ahzrak jumps and slam down with his spear, creating a damaging shockwave before doing an underhand slash. |
| Overhead Slash and Thrust | Ahzrak slams his spear before doing a thrusting attack. |
| Spinning Overhead Strikes | Ahzrak spins around while doing two quick overhead slashes. |
| 5-Hit Combo | Ahzrak enlarges his spear with green energy and perform 2 quick horizontal slashes before stabbing the Slayer 3 times with his spear.Ahzrak will only do this during the third phase. |
| Blood Spikes | Ahzrak will quickly summon blood spikes that cannot be parried. This attack will only trigger if the Slayer is sticking too near Ahzrak. You can only block this to negate damage. |
| Blood Spear Throw | Ahzrak will charge his spear with blood before throwing it to the Slayer. This attack will only trigger if the Slayer is too far from Ahzrak. You can only block this to negate damage. |
| Summon Red Spirits | Ahzrak raises his hand before summoning two Red Spirits that automatically move and leave blood trails. Stepping on the trail will inflict damage. Red Spirits will drop health and armor when destroyed. |
| Summon Spires | Ahzrak raises his hand before summoning four Red Spires. Getting in contact with the Spire will inflict damage. They will also summon fireballs once they expire after being left for a long time. They can only be destroyed with a shield throw and will then drop health and armor. Ahzrak will only do this during the second and third phase. |
| Red Spirit Barrage | Ahzrak will fly away from the fight and summon six Red Spirits that surround the Slayer in a circle. They will glow green before charging at the Slayer one-by-one. Ahzrak will only do this during the third phase. |
| Hell Blades | After the Red Sprit Barrage is over, Ahzrak will come crashing down in the middle of the field before summoning 3 waves of Hell Blades that thrust forward in his every direction. Raise your shield to block the blades or move to the nearest green blade and parry it. Ahzrak will only do this during the third phase. |
Enhanced Ahzrak Toy Location
Found in a Secret Room in Chapter 22: Reckoning
A locked room near the first Sentinel Shrine in Chapter 22: Reckoning hides another hidden room below where you can get the Ahzrak Toy Collectible. The Secret Key required to open this door can be obtained near the second Sentinel Shrine after exiting the Lower Keep area.
