These are the best Magilumic Orbs you can summon in the game. They provide damage and utility that prove to be very useful in combat while also being easily accessible. | |
Magilumic Orbs in this tier are still very good in combat but other factors such as TP Cost prevent it from truly being among the best in the game. | |
While there are some uses for these orbs, the cost to summon them and their effects just aren't as useful as the other choices for Magilumic Orbs. |

Bahamut | As the first Magilumic Orb acquired in the game, you are most likely already aware of Bahamut's value in combat. The AOE damage it delivers and its low TP cost easily make it a desired element in your unit. |
---|---|
Goldhorne | Despite its expensive 2TP cost, Goldhorne's ability to replenish HP and EP allows your unit to remain healthy and equipped to fight. Further upgrades to this summon increases the amount of HP/EP replenished so bringing Goldhorne into the endgame is more than viable. |
Fenrir | Fenrir's ability to deal AOE damage along with inflicting the freeze status effect sets itself as a very welcome member of any unit. Fenrir's inexpensive 1TP Cost as well as its ability to inflict Delay to enemies (through further upgrades) easily puts this as one of the best summons in the game. |
Coeurl | The AOE damage and Weakness Coeurl inflicts on enemies can be quite useful in combat. The cost to summon it can be quite unappealing since there are other summons such as Bahamut that deal around the same amount of damage while just requiring 1 TP. |
---|
Salamander | Salamander's lack of damage coupled with its transient buffs leave much to be desired. The buffs are useful in the short time they are activated but at that point you'd be better off with a summon that provides a bit more utility. |
---|---|
Ouroboros | For a summon that requires 3 TP to be utilized, you would expect a groundbreaking effect to be deployed battle but with Ouroboros, you simply recover some damage inflicted and gain it as HP. It would be best to take your 3 TP elsewhere. |
To upgrade any of your Magilumic Orbs, you will have go to the Institute at Elm Camp and talk to the researcher. A certain amount of Gold and materials like Jade Crystals are required to upgrade the Magilumic Orbs you own.
