How to Farm Gold Bars (Electrum)
Gold Bar (Electrum) is a Material that you can use to unlock powerful weapons in the Weapon Development Tree of DioField Chronicle. Read on to learn how to farm Gold Bars efficiently and find out where you can use Gold Bars in the game!

How to Farm Gold Bars (Electrum)
Clear the Optional Objectives of Battle Missions
One way to get Gold Bars quickly is to complete the optional objectives of main quest & side quest missions. You can get Gold Bars as early as the first chapter up to the fourth chapter of the game.
Do note that Gold Bars are only one-time rewards from the missions and you won't be able to earn continuously through Practice Battle.

Get More in New Game+
If you add up all the Gold Bars you can get from the first chapter to the final mission, the total will not be enough to unlock all the weapons in Weapon Development. However, don't worry, as you can still get more by replaying the main quest & sub quest missions during New Game+.

Can be Purchased from the Rank 5 Shop
Alternatively, you can also opt to buy Gold Bars from the Shop for 10000 Gold. To unlock the option, you will need to reach Shop Rank 5. If you do have the Shop upgraded, simply open the Shop > Items > Materials to buy more Gold Bars (Electrum).
Where to Spend Gold Bars (Electrum)
Unlock Weapons via Weapon Development
You can spend Gold Bars (Electrum) at the Institute to unlock different weapons in the Weapon Development Tree. Gold Bar weapon unlocks will range from Rare (Blue) to Unique (Purple) rarities, allowing you to get better alternatives to the ones offered at the Shop.
Note: The higher the tier of the weapon, the more Gold Bars are required to develop them. If you're planning to get a certain weapon type variant from the tree, make sure you have enough Gold Bars (Electurm) to purchase it.
