There are some missables and points of no return to take note of in The DioField Chronicle. Read on to learn about all points of no return in the game, as well as characters you can potentially miss, and if you can go back and revisit previous missions!

Waltaquin leaves Andrias and his allies after clearing Long Live the Prince, the first main quest of Chapter 5: Plummeting Star. Waltaquin will no longer be usable after clearing this main quest.

Another character that won't be playable after reaching a certain point is Iscarion. Iscarion will permanently leave the party after clearing Irreconcilable Differences, the last main quest of Chapter 6: Realm of Reformation.

A Lady Unlike Others is a Chapter 2 Character Quest.

There are Sub Quests that can be missed should you fail to complete them upon reaching certain Chapters. For example, you will lose access to Waltaquin's first Character Quest, A Lady Unlike Others, if you clear the sixth main quest of Chapter 4: Rescuing Catherine before it.
Since most of these quests simply require you to talk to a character, it is recommended to complete them as soon as possible so as not to risk missing any Character Quests.
Additionally, there are Characters that are tied to Sub Quests. While we are still confirming if they are missable, it is highly recommended to complete these quests as soon as possible to prevent losing access to them down the line.
How to Unlock All Secret Characters
Main Quests and certain Sub Quests can be revisited by visiting the Practice Battle table next to the Institute. Here, players can rewatch the quick cutscenes before and after battles, grind for EXP, money, and obtain previously missed treasure and bonuses.
