How to Revive Allies

The DioField Chronicle - How to Revive Allies

Taking lethal damage in DioField Chronicle will render your character incapacitated and unable to fight. Read on to learn about all the different ways to revive your allies during combat, including the skills and items that you can use to help them.

How to Revive Allies

Use Other Characters to Rescue Downed Units

If the HP of one of your characters drops to 0, they will become incapacitated. When this happens during combat, the downed character will not be able to fight, use skills, or move until they are revived.

During the early stages of the game, the only way to revive incapacitated characters is to have one of your other characters approach them and rescue them. Once the rescue gauge is full, the downed character will get up with a small amount of HP left.

Use Convalescent Circle to Fill the Rescue Gauge

Effect
Heal all allies in the target area while the skill is active, and fill up the rescue gauge for incapacitated allies in the target area.

Alternatively, if your party has a Magicker, they can use the Convalescent Circle skill to fill up the rescue gauges of downed allies within a large Area-of-Effect (AoE).

However, while useful, do note that this is a channeled skill. This means that your Magicker will be stationary and unable to attack during the duration of the cast animation.

Use a Renewal Potion to Revive Allies

Another method to revive incapacitated characters is the usage of a Renewal Potion during combat. If you have one slotted in the Mercenaries' Equipment section of the Equipment tab, you will be able to have one of your characters use the Renewal Potion on a downed ally to revive them.

Note: Renewal Potions can only be bought at a Rank 3 Shop. Make sure to do related Sub Quests in order to upgrade your Shop and unlock this potion for purchase.
