DioField Chronicle - ShivatShivat Healers are an absolute necessity, and Shivat stands above the rest by having higher base EP, a great Heal ability and massive boosts to healing, and a party-wide cooldown time reduction ability. Shivat may not do great damage right off the bat, but his presence will make sure your party survives longer and fights better.

DioField Chronicle - Convalescent Circle Convalescent Circle Heal all allies in the target area while the skill is active, and fill up the rescue gauge for incapacitated allies in the target area.
DioField Chronicle - Meteor Fall Meteor Fall Deal regular damage to enemies in the target area.
DioField Chronicle - Frostbind Frostbind Inflict Freeze on enemies in the target area.
DioField Chronicle - Pandemic Pandemic Deal damage to enemies in the target area. If any of the targets have a status effect, it is passed to all enemies in the target area.
DioField Chronicle - Magical Force Magical Force Deal damage to a target. Soldiers take extra damage.
DioField Chronicle - Hurried Heal Hurried Heal Restore 30% of the target's max HP.
DioField Chronicle - Ignition Ignition Create an effect area that bestows Rapidity to allies within it.
DioField Chronicle - Heal Heal Restore 50% of a target's max HP.
DioField Chronicle - Flame Wisp Flame Wisp Conjure a ball of flame that circles around the target, potentiall inflicting Burn on those it strikes.
DioField Chronicle - Ice Missile Ice Missile Conjure a block of ice on the target. The block will fire icy arrows as the unit attacks. Has a chance to inflict Freeze.
DioField Chronicle - Lightning Rod Lightning Rod Deploy a lightning rod which deals damage at regular intervals to enemies in its target area, with a chance to inflict Stun.
DioField Chronicle - Sanctuary Sanctuary Create a restorative area that gradually restores HP to allies within it.
DioField Chronicle - Frenzied Soul Frenzied Soul Deal damage to enemies in the target area and restore part of that damage as HP to all allies in the target area.

Keep Magickers at the Back

Keep Magickers at the Back
Station your Magickers behind your Cavalier and other units to keep them safe while they deal Ambush damage to an enemy that has been Provoked by your Soldier.

Conserve EP for Healing

Don't go too wild with the offensive spells, as you will certainly need a reserve of EP for healing spells, especially for longer battles and bosses. For the first half of the fight, be content to let the other three members of the party do most of the heavy lifting. While your Magicker deals autoattack damage.

Provide DPS to Crowds of Enemies

If your party isn't in any imminent danger, feel free to provide assisting DPS with AoE spells like Meteor Fall and Pandemic, especially if you've gathered a crowd of enemies together with a Cavalier's skill. The faster you can take out a bunch of enemies, the less chance they'll have of inflicting lasting damage on your troops.
