How to Use the Battle Log

The Battle Log is a feature in DioField Chronicle where you can reattempt battles from completed checkpoints while in combat. Read on to learn more about the battle log including how to use it, what you can do with it, as well as how to get the Victory Goes to the Indomitable achievement for it.

How to Use the Battle Log

Access Battle Status Overview Reset the Battle Complete Bonus Objectives

Access Battle Status Overview

During combat press R2 (or M for PC) to bring up the Battle Status Overview. This will show the current position of both your unit and enemies on the battlefield.

View Battle Log

Next, press X (or Z/X for PC) to view the Battle Log. From here, you can access your battle progress and see the different checkpoints and their respective timestamps.

Reset the Battle

Whenever new enemy units are deployed, this marks that a checkpoint has been reached. Players that are finding a battle difficult to finish can restart from any completed checkpoint and fight enemies using a different approach.

Complete Bonus Objectives

Check a mission's Bonus Objectives in the Battle Status Overview by selecting Display Mission

Along with completing a mission, there are optional objectives you can complete during missions in order to receive Bonus Rewards. These usually require you to finish the mission in a certain amount of time or require no allies to fall.

Whichever the bonus objective may be, you can use the battle log to go back and reattempt to complete the mission while completing the bonus rewards.

Check for Treasure Chests

Since the Battle Log provides a bird's eye view of the battle, you can utilize this to look for any Treasure Chest that otherwise would have been missed.

How to Get the Bronze Trophy

Use Battle Log for the First Time

	Victory Goes to the Indomitable
	Use the Battle Log.

Using the Battle Log and restarting from a certain checkpoint for the first time will unlock the Bronze Achievement: Victory Goes to the Indomitable.
