Leaders Earn Full EXP

Leaders and Adjutants
If you wish to level up a specific character, make them a Unit Leader. Leaders earn the full amount of EXP from a mission, while their Adjutants earn only half of the EXP.

You can edit your team formation by opening the menu and selecting Edit Unit.

Upgrade Skill Tree and Meal Badge Ranks

Mercenary Rank Guide - Take on Sub Quests
Upgrades to Skill Tree Rank unlocks new skills on the Skill Tree while Meal Rank reduces damage received by all units. Badge Ranks can be increased by taking on their related sub quests.

In addition to these benefits, further upgrades to either badge rank increases EXP earned from missions.

Fast-Forward & Auto-Attack in Missions

The fastest way to earn EXP from Practice Battles is to blaze through easy, low-level missions by increasing the game speed to 2x and using Auto-attack. These missions will get easier the higher your level is, making the whole battle pass by very quickly.

This method can save a lot of time, especially if you pause the game a lot to think up strategies and use Skills.

Note: This item is only available as a pre-order bonus.

The Recruit's Bangle is an accessory that gives an additional 50% EXP earned to the character equipped with this item, but only until Level 15.

You may give this to your strongest character, to make them even stronger, or to weaker party members to help balance your team comp.
