Play Practice Battles
Practice Battles are the fastest way to farm Gold in DioField Chronicle. You can replay any past mission in Practice Battle and earn its corresponding Gold reward over and over again. If you missed any of the additional rewards, Practice Battle also allows you to earn them so long as you complete the optional objectives.
Practice Battle is unlocked by completing the Coswell Volcano Expedition mission in Chapter 1 and can be accessed at any time simply by interacting with the Practice Battle table at the Elm Camp.

Easiest Missions to Complete
Replaying easy Practice Battle missions from every Chapter will earn you quick Gold. Refer to the table below for the easiest missions that give great Gold rewards.

Note: Gold rewards in this table are based on upgraded Badge Ranks, and are higher than base figures.
Fast-Forward Auto-Attack the Whole Way
The fastest way to earn Gold from Practice Battles is to blaze through easy, low-level missions by increasing the game speed to 2x and using Auto-attack. These missions will get easier the higher your level is, making the whole battle pass by very quickly.
Complete All Available Sub Quests
Gold can be received as rewards from completing Sub Quests. You can only receive the reward once per sub quest, but they are still worth doing, as they give you around 1,000~10,000 Gold each depending on your current Chapter.

Complete Main Missions
Completing main story missions is the slowest way to earn Gold, and is only recommended if you wish to advance the story a little and unlock more sub quests for you to complete.

Purchase Weapons and Accessories at the Shop
Gold is primarily used to purchase new and stronger Equipment like weapons, accessories and items. It is advisable to invest in these to give your troops a fighting chance on the battlefield.
Upgrade Base's Facilities
Gold can be used to upgrade the Base's facilities. These upgrades will increase your Mercenary Unit Rank by giving you Badge rank level ups that can increase your stats or unlock new weapons, items and skills at the home base.

Upgrade Magilumic Orbs
Gold, along with materials, can be used to upgrade your Magilumic Orbs. These upgrades will increase the power or effectiveness of these summons.
