| 6 | Chase down the monster. |
| 7 | Kill the monster. |
| 8 | Take the trophy from the monster. |

Questing Tips
Using Bombs
Use Dancing Star Bombs instead of Grapeshot Bombs to lure the Cockatrice out of its lair. You need to save as much Grapeshot Bombs as you can to use later on the fight.
Using Crossbows
Cockatrice will fly away during this fight. Use your crossbow to shoot it down and get them in range of your sword attacks.
Quest Reward
You will receive a huge amount of XP reward and you will be able to take the Cockatrice Trophy from its corpse.
Combat Strategies
Shrieker (Cockatrice)
- Coat your Silver Sword with Draconid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
- Grapeshot Bombs are extremely effective against Cockatrice. Make sure this bomb hits the Cockatrice to deal massive damage.
- Cast the Aard Sign to stagger the Cockatrice during its attacks.
