How to Fight Eredin

How to Fight

Fighting Eredin is similar to how you should deal with Imlerith. The best way to deal with Eredin to wait for openings, hit him with the Igni Sign and start your attack combo.

Just like in Imlerith's second phase, Eredin, in his first phase will teleport behind you and counterattack once he takes too much hits from you. Another good way to wait for him to attack you and start your attack combo once he finishes his teleport attack combo. It is important to know that most of his attacks that cannot be parried or countered will stun you long enough that his next attacks might kill you.

During his second phase, he will teleport Geralt and himself on top of a cliff and start attack you with ranged projectiles. You can use the same strategy here from fighting Caranthir as Geralt. You should protect yourself with the Quen Sign and close the gap in order to start your attack combo. Once his health gets low enough, he will teleport back to the ship and you can follow him to end the fight in the next hit.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Elementa oil to deal bonus damage to them. You can prepare some Samum Bombs to stun him and give yourself opportunities to attack him.

Special Sign Effects

  • Igni - This will remove his frost armor and you will be able to deal more damage to him.
