How to Fight Imlerith

How to Fight

You can encounter this fight during the Main Quest: Bald Mountain. The best way to deal with Imlerith is to start your attack combo with the Igni Sign to remove his frost armor then attack him from behind.

During his first Phase you can bait his slow attacks and dodge or roll towards his back in order to start your attack combo. If Imlerith takes too much hits, he will automatically guard your next attack. It is important to know that if you gain too much distance from him, he will teleport behind you and regain his frost armor.

During his second Phase he will get rid of his shield and start teleporting around you continuously while attack you. When he does this combo you just have to wait until he gets tired from attacking and you can position yourself to start your attack combo from his back.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Elementa Oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare a lot of healing potions like the Swallow Potion or the White Raffard's Decoction to gain back the lost health if you get hit by him. Also, Samum Bombs can also be used to stun him and give you time to attack him from behind.

Special Sign Effects

  • Igni - This can be used to remove his frost armor after he teleports so you can deal more damage to him.
  • Axii - This can be used to stun him momentarily and give yourself time to attack him from behind. Using this Sign too much will allow to to block the next time you use Axii on him.
