The skill's increase in inventory weight can be seen as a significant amount especially early in the game. Having your maximum inventory weight increased by 60 is a huge amount considering the weight of most of the items in the game.

A good strategy for this skill is to invest a skill point on it but do not equip it. For player who likes looting everything they can in the game, this can serve as an emergency skill to equip so they will not get over encumbered by the amount if items in their inventory.
