We do not recommend spending points into Pyromaniac

Do to its somewhat niche nature or lack of utility, we do not recommend investing into this skill. Generally speaking, your points will better be spent elsewhere. However, there are some builds that may make use of this skill, so only in those instances should you invest your points here.

This skill becomes irrelevant the higher your Sign Intensity is. It would take a lot of investment in order to unlock this skill and by the time you unlock it, you would already have enough Sign Intensity to increase the Igni Sign's burn chance to above 90%.

Conclusion

Getting this skill is not worth it since it is very expensive and the chance to burn enemies also scales with Sign Intensity. We would recommend that you use your skill points on other skills rather than investing it on this skill.

Your conclusion is wrong. It gives 100% burn to anything that isn't immune. It's better than igni intensity imo.
