Do to its somewhat niche nature or lack of utility, we do not recommend investing into this skill. Generally speaking, your points will better be spent elsewhere. However, there are some builds that may make use of this skill, so only in those instances should you invest your points here.
There are not many ways to increase the critical hit chance of the crossbow. The crossbow does not deal a lot of damage unless you craft and use special bolts for it. Making builds for the crossbow is very niche and due to the nature of the crossbow in combat, it undermines this skill.
Unless you prefer using your crossbow as your main source of damage, we would recommend that you use your skill points on other skills rather than investing it on this skill.
